Veronica Thompson, CEO of Thompson Tax Solutions,a IT and Tax Professional , with more than twenty-two years of progressively responsible experience in information technology management and global operations support. With Veronica’s background, she is well-versed and committed to providing stellar customer service and turnaround times. She loves that her MIS background goes hand in hand with her tax preparation and services by utilizing tax preparation software to accurately calculate taxes. Veronica prides herself on researching complex and unique income tax incidents that may arise during the tax season.
One thing you can be assured is that Veronica will maintain the integrity and security of your business and personal tax information. Veronica is known for furnishing her taxpaying clients with sufficient information and advice to ensure correct tax form completion, computing overpayments and deductions, and is sure to consult tax law handbooks or bulletins to determine best practices and best returns. The great thing about Veronica, is not only does she have great customer service and tax turnaround times, but she can also do her client taxes in all 50 states.
In her career, Veronica has held many progressive management and supervisory positions from Client Services support and Technology Support Manager to name a few that has positively advanced her experience and knowledge of IT systems and customer service. Her experience even goes as far as training other new income tax preparers to be efficient. Veronica has also worked for H&R Block one of the nation’s largest tax preparation companies, where she built an amazing rapport with numerous repeat tax clients. Veronica now serves in the role of Global IT Operations Analyst for an innovative fortune 500 science and technology company.
As Founder, Veronica launched Thompson Tax Solutions on October 2021. Veronica’s goal with her tax clients is to aim to educate them on how their income taxes affect them individually, save them money, have a great experience from beginning to end while having their income tax prepared. She is a proponent of continuing education and advancement for the betterment of her clients, as every year she advances her tax knowledge to best serve her clients by taking federal and state tax classes .
Veronica has a Bachelors Degree in Information Systems and Operations Management, with a concentration in Information Systems from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Veronica is also currently pursuing her Master degree in Educational Technology. She is also a 2004 graduate of the first ever “Government Works: A City Academy” offered by The City of Greensboro. Veronica is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery and continues to explore her interest of learning more about how our local, state and federal governments integrate technology into everyday business practices and procedures.
In her free time Veronica enjoys being a wife to James, having fun and making last memories with their daughters Gabrielle and Janae. She also enjoys completing small wood working projects, interior design, delving in small garden projects, and volunteering at her church.
